World Drums Bring Flavor to Music

Therapy Now that I am officially a music therapy intern, I am always looking for new and exciting things to bring to my sessions for my clients. Recently, I have begun incorporating world drums into my sessions and the clients really seem to enjoy playing them. From bongos to congas, djembes, and even the occasional ashiko, world drums seem to be really motivating. Best of all, they are easy to play. They require no special skills and have practically no learning curve, so the whole group can be making music together in no time. In contrast to the traditional western drum set, world drums are much less intimidating
