The expires at the end of the term
General October 12th, 2008The insurance policy expires at the end of the term period with no accumulated cash and no benefits payable. If the policy owner expires during the policy period then only he can get the death benefit payable. A few people describe a term life insurance policy as “insurance that is actuarially designed to expire before you do”. In case of premiums it is small; they increase with your age. Due to this reason, term life insurance policies are the most inexpensive when purchased at a younger age and when the term is longer.
