Do you know what a pergola is? We didn’t until we looked for a solution to our blazing sun problem. We had a lovely patio right out back of our dining room that we could never use because of the blazing sun. It was just too darned hot. When we were searching for what to do we came upon pergola plans. We were immediately interested, not only did this pergola look like it would fit well into our landscaping plans it looked like it would be easy for my DIY husband to build. We found free pergola plans online, built one and it works perfectly! Not only does it look good, it’s given us the use of our patio for the first time!
